Then Sings My Soul Saturday ~ You Never Let Go

Happy Then Sings My Soul Saturday! I'm linking up with Amy of Signs, Miracles and Wonders so join in or feel free to go blog hopping with us.

I hope you had a good Thanksgiving and ...didn't overeat.

If you did, you may want to read my Fitness Friday post and ...there's a giveaway.

A fellow blogger told me about this song called "You Never Let Go" sung by Matt Redman.

Listen to the lyrics:

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
Your perfect love is casting out fear
And even when I'm caught in the middle of the storms of this life
I won't turn back
I know you are near.

And I will fear no evil
For my God is with me
And if my God is with me

Whom then shall I fear?
Whom then shall I fear?

(Chorus:)
Oh no, You never let go
Through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go
In every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go
Lord, You never let go of me.

And I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
A glorious light beyond all compare
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
We'll live to know You here on the earth.

(Chorus)

Yes, I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
still I will praise You, still I will praise You.

(Chorus 2x's)

Happy Saturday and thank you for visiting Heart Choices today.

Blessings,

  5. Whenever that song comes on the radio I find it difficult not to tap my feet while singing aloud at the top of my lungs. It's such a heartening and powerful truth.

Just one more blessing amidst a mound too high to scale, too big to count. He never lets go. Amazing.

    Blessings in His tight grip,

    Kathleen

  11. Blessings Debbie and thanks for sharing "You Never Let Go"... for it is this belief that keeps us pressin' forward... [The YouTube told me that there is a country restriction due to copyright so I didn't get to listen] but I have it in my files & know it well. I used this song with the YWAM group when I was teaching Spanish/English to them last year. Keeps me seeking new & younger music & this one they knew, so I needed it. But how reassuring are these words for a YOUTH starting a course towards MISSION as they are.

Still I will PRAISE Him!!! Through the highs (not so difficult) and through the lows (now that's when we really need to and it's so hard)
but His light just draws us if we steer focused into His arms!

Have a wonderful weekend & enJOY TSMSS! Time to worship & praise with our blogging family ...
    continual thanks giving! Hugs,
    Peggy

  18. Debbie,
Thanks for stopping by my blog and your sweet comments. You blessed me!

I remember the first time we sang this song in church. I wept. I was in the midst of some pretty hard storms... all I could do was stand there and weep.... before you knew it I was singing the words proclaiming their truth. He really doesn't ever let go!

    Have a blessed day!

  19. I have heard this song, even sing it at church, but having it the lyrics broke down for me really gives it new meaning. Also, the graphics are wonderful. Being one that still likes the hymns, some of the new songs don't always minister to me like my old favorites. Thank-you for letting me see the beauty of this song. (of course, I still like my hymns....let's see......"Your anchor holds, and grips the Solid Rock......")
