I will be hosting "In Other Words Tuesdays" this week.
The quote I chose for us to write about is:
I want to encourage you to join in this next Tuesday, March 15th. Simply write a blog post on this quote and link up with us here. I look forward to reading your post.
Blessings and love,
I'm happy to be joining in on Then Sings My Soul Saturday with Amy of Signs, Miracles and Wonders.
I heard this song called "Tunnel" by Third Day on the radio today and ...loved it.
The lyrics are wonderful and timely. So many people are going through challenging times. It helps to be reminded that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
I won't pretend to know what you're thinking
I can't begin to know what you're going through
I won't deny the pain that you're feeling
But I'm gonna try and give a little hope to you
Just remember what I've told you
There's so much you're living for
[Chorus]
There's a light at the end of this tunnel
There's a light at the end of this tunnel
For you, for you
There's a light at the end of this tunnel
Shinin' bright at the end of this tunnel
For you, for you
So keep holdin' on
You've got your disappointments and sorrows
You ought to share the weight of that load with me
Then you will find that the light of tomorrow
It brings a new life for your eyes to see
So remember what I've told you
There's so much you're living for
[Chorus]
So keep holdin' on
Keep holding on
So remember what I've told you
There's so much you're living for
[Chorus] x2
There's a light at the end of this tunnel
For you, for you
Shinin' bright at the end of this tunnel
For you, for you
So keep holdin' on
Keep holding on
Keep holding on, now.
You've got your disappointments and sorrows
But I'm gonna try and give a little hope to you
Blessings and love,
Have you had any divine appointments lately? You know those times when you interact with someone and you just know it was orchestrated by God.
Do you pray and ask God to open your eyes to what He has for you today?
I'm over at Laced with Grace today. I encourage you to link over there for the rest of the story ...

It's In Other Words Tuesday and our host for this week is Tami of The Next Step. Tami chose the following quote for us to write about:
How do you live day to day? What happens when you think nobody is looking? Do you walk in love?
You can be the most eloquent speaker and teacher of the Word. But the Scripture says ...it must be done in love.
I remember attending a Christian conference. The teacher was very intelligent and knowledgable as he presented the material. However, as he exited the stage during our break he didn't realize that his microphone was still turned on. When the audience heard his irritated words, we were shocked and he was embarassed!
Lesson to self; walk your talk.
There's always someone watching, especially if you are preaching to others. And always remember that even if you think nobody sees you, nothing is hidden from the Lord. He sees it all!
My paternal grandfather was a great example of someone who walked his talk. As a little girl, I loved to accompany him to the stores. When we walked into the bakery, he was always greeted with smiles and of course, everyone knew his name. I loved it when they yelled "Hi Henry".
That was my Grandpa and he walked in love wherever he went.
Maybe that was why he often had new friends accompany he and my Nana to church on Sundays. He was always inviting new faces he met. How could they resist his smile and warm personality? He couldn't help but share the love of Christ with others. It overflowed to others so easily.
How about you? Do you walk your talk?
You and I may not be preachers but as Christians, we can choose to share the love of Christ with others.
Blessings and love,

What a blessing it has been as I continue to slowly read Ann Voskamp's book One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are. I find myself on the outlook for those simple blessings each day. Thank you for that new awareness Ann.
Last week our school had a pep rally. It's a fun time as the Pre-K and elementary school cheerleaders and dancers got to entertain us. There was even a contest for the teachers; a limbo contest! Can you believe it?

What an exciting time as fourth grader students were assigned to work with a three year old for a time of planting. They taught the little ones how to plant seeds. Now when we pass by the planters, the children will be looking to see what happens to their seeds over time.
#10 Little hands planting seeds for fresh vegetables
#11 Working together on a shared project
There's something so wonderful about teaching a child to read and write. Each week in our class, a new letter is introduced. Last week was the letter "S". Of course, they learn both upper case and lower case letters.
#12 The sight of a child writing their letters
What a blessing it is to see the excitement and responsiveness as new stories are introduced to the three year olds.
#13 Children attentive and listening to a new story
During this challenging season of my life, how thankful I am to be working in a wonderful school with little children. It is a gift from the Lord!

I'm so glad we get to work together each day. At the end of the pep rally as the classes were dispersed, our class was the last to leave. And guess what Heidi and I were doing with the children?
DANCING and LAUGHING
At the end of our day, Heidi and I felt the same as Christopher; so tired!
Blessings and love,
