From The Inside Out

I've been on a 7 day journey with 25 blogging friends called Ladies on a Mission. My good friend Lisa Shaw has been leading us in a time of ...laying it all down.

God has been pruning each one of us of things that need to go.

Many of us have held on to past hurts, the "what if's" and "should have's" in our lives.

During this process, Lisa has encouraged us to pray for one another. What a blessing that has been!

I know that so much good will come out of these 7 days that will ...impact my life.

In this process of laying it all down, I've found that ...it's exhausting.
There's so much emotionally going on from the inside out as I pour out my heart to the Lord. I want to share some of the things I've learned in the days to come with you. But right now, I'm still absorbing it all.

I wish we could sit together and enjoy some friend time. Can't you just picture us here?

We could sit and talk about what we're learning and enjoy the view and the moment. No rush to get to our next scheduled meeting or to run errands. Just spending time together enjoying the moment and the beauty of God's creation.

Do you ever find yourself longing for a time of rest and quiet with no interruptions?

  1. Yes, I can see myself sitting there for a long period of time. And yes, this process has been exhausting for me too! I can't quite put my finger on it, but I'm tired friend. A good kind of tired, but exhausted nonetheless.

This has been a beautiful week; can't wait for our next installment of gettin' real with Jesus and others. Oh, by the way...

Just had my friend Beth who is joining us on the the 7 day journey call me and pray over me. Isn't that something? And I've never even met her in person.

    Lots of love.

  3. Oh how beautiful it would be to sit there with you!

I do long for quiet and stillness some days being a Mom of 8 so young.

Yet, it is in the my quiet time with Him that I see the beauty of the sounds that arise as the morning takes over the day! Their love and smiles make the noise beautiful and fills my heart with His love for me!

Hugs precious friend and praying along side of you as you lay it all down!!!!! REJOICE in His love for you!
