Hosting "In Other Words" This Tuesday

I will be hosting "In Other Words Tuesday".  I invite you to join in this coming Tuesday, May 24th.  Simply post this quote in your blog post and write your thoughts.  If you click on the image for In Other Words Tuesday, you can get the code to past into your blog.  Be sure to link up here on Heart Choices with the direct link to your post so we can visit one another.  It's always interesting to read one another's viewpoints on the chosen quote.

This is the quote I chose for us to write about this week:

This quote was taken from a blog post on David Wilkerson Devotionals on the day of his death, April 27, 2011 in an auto accident.  He was the founder of World Challenge.

So come back on Tuesday.  I look forward to reading your blog posts.

Blessings and love,

  1. I didn't even know David Wilkerson was dead. He was a hero, an idol from the late sixties. The first time we heard of preachers walking new ways to reach the wasted and forlorn.
He was so brave and straightforward. How very special that this was posted on his blog the day he died.
It was all a part of God's great master plan.
You are the second sister writing about this topic today.
I guess God has something special in store for all of us. No, I know it.

  2. I did not realize that Dave had passed away. I have received his World Challenge pulpit series every month for several years. He wrote with such compassion, depth and wisdom. I remember reading his book "The Cross and Switchblade" many years ago. He had such a heart for hurting people. He is now home with his Lord, but he will be greatly missed. So many of us were touched by his life.
