It's Then Sings My Soul Saturday when I link up with Amy of Signs, Miracles and Wonders.
In honor of Independence Day, I thought I'd post this video of the Gaither Vocal Band singing "America the Beautiful".
I'm so thankful to God for this beautiful land in which we live and for the freedoms we all too often take for granted.
Have a wonderful and safe 4th of July weekend!
Blessings and love,
What a beautiful video. So appropriate and I love the Gaithers.
ReplyDeleteNo, we've never seen the fireworks at Tempe. I'll bet it's really nice. I was surprised to find that picture.

ReplyDeleteAhhh! So beautiful! Our family enjoys the Gaithers! This was such a pretty arrangement, and the visuals were signs of God's majesty and blessings on this country! May we never forget His blessings as we keep our eyes focused on Him! "Father, we thank You for the freedom to live in this country, but most of all for the freedom we've gained through the sacrificial offering of Your Son, Jesus! In Jesus' name, Amen." Happy 4th!!! :)

ReplyDeleteThe Gaithers have always been one of our favorite singers, and this song is a familiar one with me -- we were under the US for a time, and so our culture is quite Americanized. For a time we used to celebrate the 4th of July here as Filipino American Friendship Day.
ReplyDeleteHappy Independence Day, Debbie!
THanks for sharing this song.
Love
