Father's Love Letter

Do you ever have days when all you need to hear is that God loves you?

I had a very challenging weekend filled with much uncertainty.  I am learning to trust God.  But I have to admit that there are moments when I tend to waver a bit, especially when the situation remains the same.

My husband has been doing his best to comfort me and help me during this season.

I listened to this beautiful music and read the Scriptures this morning and found it so comforting.  I hope you enjoy it and remember how much God loves you and cares for you.

Blessings and love,

  1. Dearest Debbie - yes I do have days where I need to simply crawl up in Daddy's lap and hide away. I have days where I can't even see the light at the end of the tunnel - no matter how much I know it will come.

This is where you put your trust and hope in His faithfulness. He will NOT leave you nor forsake you. He loves you no matter what. His grace is enough! He will see you through this season and thank God all seasons MUST come to an end!

    Love you,
    Jill

  3. Dear Debbie...how could you have known I was just talking to the Lord about this Saturday night? Even asked my pastor about this in Sunday school! Ephesians 5:1 & 2 says, "Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." Imitators of God...as dearly loved children. Our children are a reflection of us. I asked the Father to help me REALIZE His love, so that I could in turn show His love to others. I KNOW He LOVES ME, but for some reason I was needing something...maybe reassurance? Anyway, ever since, beginning with Sunday School yesterday, the Lord has been using scripture, or other dear bloggin' sisters' posts, like YOURS, to reveal a better glimpse of just HOW MUCH HE loves us... Isn't God GOOD??? It is His Holy Spirit within us that whispers His love to us, and fills us with the love of God. And He is using others like you to pass it on! "Oh how He loves you and me! He gave His life what more could He give?" Big hugs to you dear sister!!

  5. I am SO glad I stopped by here. I needed to hear those words in the song.

If I'm a stranger here, then why does it feel like home?! :)

    I'll be back. :)

  7. If we aren't having "one of those days" right now, or this week....we will be soon. Satan just does not let us rest easy too long - great verses to remember. Hope you find answers soon.

  9. Hi Debbie, I found your blog by "accident". Your scripture was so encouraging to me. I, too, had a rough week and still seeking God for what is best in my situation. I claim Prov 3:5-6, that even if we dont understand, God is in control. Thank you for sharing what God has put on your heart.

  12. Hi Deb, What a beautiful soothing song and the words definitely have that calming effect. I'm back from vacation! Thanks for your good wishes before I left. I cannot believe that someone as pretty as you could have any uncertainty at all! I still say you look like Shelly Long. Hugs, Dolly Have a great day, and remember the Lord always works in mysterious ways, but he has certainty in everything he does & loves us with that unconditional love. Whenever one door closes another opens!

  14. Beautiful video...

I have wavered, too, when things seem to stagnate and not move...but praise be to God...He loves us so much...this song is in my head now...

    "
And we are His portion and He is our prize,
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes,
If His grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking.
And heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss,
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest,
I don’t have time to maintain these regrets,
When I think about, the way…

    That He loves us..."
