It's Word-filled Wednesday and I'm linking up with the Internet Cafe Devotions.
There's just something about the beauty of flowers. I love to photograph nature and remember who created this earth; God.
Today is my mom's birthday. However, she died a little over six years ago. She always loved flowers so this photo reminds me of her. I miss her so much but I'm so thankful that I will see her again one day in Heaven.
New to "Internet Cafe Devotions".....love it! Thanks for sharing Debbie! :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I see pics like this, I'm reminded of how much God loves beauty! Blessings as you remember your mom and rejoice that she's in Heaven.

Beautiful picture and scripture. I'm sure it would make your mom smile!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for you that you will see her again. The flowers are so pretty and such a pleasant reminder of your mom.
ReplyDeleteWere you affected by that awful dust storm I saw on the news?
Before getting to the bottom of your post, I was about to say, "my mom loved flowers so your pic and post reminded me of her..." now, knowing that your mom felt the same.
ReplyDeleteIt is comforting that through simple things like these bring us warmth in our hearts. I thank the Lord for His blessings for such. God bless you sister and may you have a wonderful day, remaining strong in the Lord's mighty power, blooming in His love!
My mom loved flowers too. Happy birthday to your mom! I know she must have been an amazing woman to have a daughter like you.
ReplyDeleteLove you,
Lisa

I love this sweet and
ReplyDeletebeautiful picture. I am
a lover of flowers and
nature too. My dear mom
went home to Jesus twelve
years ago and I always
remember her birthday
(which was last month)
and miss her terribly.
I am so overjoyed that
one day we will be together
again, and this time we
won't have to say good-bye.
Debbie:
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of you tonight, praying a special prayer of God's peace for your heart as you think of your mom. Our moms can bring tears so quickly, can't they?
I hope our moms have already met, and I think they have. Can't you just see 2 Norwegians sharing their hearts? I'm so glad we will see them again one day.
Love you sis!
Beautiful Debbie. Happy Birthday to your Mom. I know each day is a celebration for her now. (((hugs)))
