It's Then Sings My Soul Saturday when I link up with Amy of Signs, Miracles and Wonders.
This week the song that touched my heart the most is "The Power of Your Name" sung by Lincoln Brewster. The words to this song have such strong meaning for me. I want to go beyond "religion" and to live out my life through the power of His Name.
Happy Saturday!
Blessings and love,
Very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGreat message. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteDear Debbie,
ReplyDeleteWhat a strong and challenging song.
It hit me like a punching glove.
I have been loosely contemplating over the phenomenons, that I,- I should be appointed to be salt and light of the world.
You now the old devil likes to make me think I'm nothing, he holds all my falls and failure up against me with his mirror every day.
Slowly I am beginning to recognize his style and foot steps in the dark, and I turn to God, saying the only words I know; Thy will be done, Thy Kingdom come.
I can be mislead and fail, but God's thoughts for me and mankind are peace and salvation.
Thanks for this beautiful song reminder. I'll embrace it as a greeting to me.
