What Love Really Means

I've been hearing a song by JJ Heller alot lately and it's stuck in my head.  "What Love Really Means" is a song that has a beautiful message.  People long to be loved.  But how often do they look in the wrong places to find it or try to meet the expectations of another to earn their love?

How thankful I am that God loves me.  I don't have to do anything to earn that love.  He created me and longs to be in relationship with me.  How incredible is that?

I'm linking up with Amy of Signs, Miracles and Wonders today for Then Sings My Soul Saturday.

Blessings and love,

  2. What a beautiful song!! Yes it is hard sometimes for me to really get my head around that He loves me NO MATTER WHAT...that I don't have to earn it in some way. What an incredible thing when you dwell on it. Have a wonderful week-end Debbie HUGS

  4. Great song. It seems like people tosses the word love so freely these days for all the wrong reasons.

  15. Debbie,
Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a sweet comment on my recent post. It was good to hear from you.

I love this song also. I am amazed at the people who love God, yet have little conception of just how much He loves them. It is the bedrock of my faith to know that God's unfailing love is available to me on a daily basis. He is, indeed, the love of my life.

blessings to you today, dear friend. You bless me.

    In Grace,
    Marie
