The quote I've chosen for us to write about is from Priscilla Shirer's book entitled
One in a Million: Journey to Your Promised Land. What an incredible timely book this was for me to read!
Here's the quote:
The spirit of complaint is born out of an unwillingness to trust God with today. Like the Israelites, it means you are spending your time looking back toward Egypt or wishing for the future, all the while missing what God is doing right now.
I hope you'll return on Tuesday, October 19th to link up your blog posts.
Blessings and love,
Great quote sis.
ReplyDeleteSo profound.
ReplyDeleteI just love Priscilla Shirer.
I will come back to read the posts on Tuesday... there's a lot of truth in that quote. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait what the Lord will say through precious bloggers' hearts...It would be exciting to read about the same struggles we go through as we walk with the Lord. Why do we always look back when there is so much more up ahead? Have a great weekend sister Debbie. God bless you and protect you.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteMarvelous quote, Debbie. I will contemplate on it and maybe can come up with some thoughts for it.
ReplyDeleteLove & peace,
<>< Iris
Great quote, I copied it so I can be thinking about it and will try to get a post ready for Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.

Profound, great quote!
ReplyDeleteHi my friend,
ReplyDeleteWhen I did her bible study back the end of April, this was one of my favorite quotes.
It's meaty and makes you think!
Love and miss you and thank you for all of your prayers for me while I was on blog break last week.
