Really enjoyed your devotion.
ReplyDeletePraying for you!
ReplyDeleteIt is a daily struggle for most of us to simply be still and trust God has everything under control. Sure there are situations that are easier to trust Him with - but the areas where He really wants our full trust and for us to let go and let God - takes faith.
Today if you will hear MY voice...
Love you sweet friend!

Being still has always been a challenge for me!! I know that's what God wants, many times, especially within my own heart, as I focus on keeping Him in first place. Being still physically is always a hard one for me.
ReplyDeleteGood words Debbie, and I hope they were spoken from your 'mounain top retreat!'...
Hugs Sis!

ps... I just re-read this AFTER I hit the enter button. Maybe that's what 'being still' also does... helps me to spell my own name right!! :)

I can so relate to this. I am experiencing a little bit if the self-struggling, unwilling to let go and let God right now. We have six weeks to find a place to live and I am allowing fear of "what if we don't find a place" set in. I must be still!
ReplyDeleteAwesome devotion, Debbie!

ReplyDeletegoing to check out your devo...can't wait1 ;)
Yep I can relate!
ReplyDeleteDebbie,
ReplyDeleteAwesome message you shared as always!
Being still is so vitally important to our Christian walk and as a friend of mine says, "Lisa, being still is important to my sanity". That's the truth! Being still in GOD is an amazing time of refreshment but also a time of peace, wisdom and refreshment.
I love and miss you my friend.
