I decided to post a few pictures from a trip Greg and I took to Italy. One of our favorite spots was the Isle of Capri. If you've ever watched Giada DeLaurentiis
on the Food Network, this is one of her family's favorite places to visit.

Our first glimpse of Capri
There were so many rowboats waiting their turn to take tourists into the Blue Lagoon.
The opening into the lagoon varies with the tide. Certain conditions need to exist so the opening is large enough.
Luckily, we were able to get in the lagoon. Our rower sang the whole time.
I took this photo from the top of the Isle of Capri. Isn't this view gorgeous? Trust me, this is one place to put on your list.

ReplyDeleteMy sister and her family went a few years back, and because she was pregnant at the time, she couldn't really enjoy it. The smells were making her sick alot. But, her pictures were wonderful!
We were in Capri about 8 years ago. I thought it was so gorgeous. I'd love to go back someday!

I wanted to go to Italy this year for our anniversary but it fell on Easter (we didn't want all the crowds). But now you've made me very determined to go next year ;). Love the picks.

Oh My Goodness...How gorgeous is that? What a beautiful place to see. My DIL is Italian and her dream is to go to Capri, and thus the name of their oldest daughter. I pray they pull that trip off someday. What a truly spectacular place of beauty our Lord created there. Have a wonderful week-end Deb. HUGS...

ReplyDeletenever went there when i lived in Italy, but it does look similar to a few other places...it's such an extraordinary coastline...one place every one should go. i'm sure you had a fantastic holiday!
