It's Then Sings My Soul Saturday when I link up with Amy of Signs, Miracles and Wonders. I hope you take the time to blog hop along with us and sing and worship. It always lifts my spirit when I participate.
I had an unusually difficult week. I'm so grateful for my bloggy friends. You really are a wonderful community of friends who offer encourgement and prayer.
Jill of Forever N Ever N Always shared this song with me the other day and it was such a blessing. Thank you Jill for your prayers and words of encouragement!
Are you in a desert or a wilderness time? Are you waiting for the rain? Maybe the promises you hope to see haven't been fulfilled.
Don't give up HOPE! There will be times of draught and famine but by faith ...we can wait for the rain.
Oh dear friend I can so relate to this. I will be glad when we will never have to wait to be refreshed again.
ReplyDeleteLove you!
Debbie, this is a beautiful song...I, too, am ready for the day that He will dry our tears, and we will see a desert no more.
ReplyDeleteGod bless,
Mary
So glad you enjoyed my post... you are right, the Lord didn't promise us life would be easy or without pain.... but, I thank God every day, that the battle is already won.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a blessing! Love you blog! Have a great weekend!
There's a new Kutless song, "That's What Faith Can Do", that has captivated me in recent days. It's hosted on YouTube if you want to grab a listen.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry the road you're traveling today is strewn with boulders and inclines. I've navigated a good many of them myself, often wondering if even God could see me struggling.
The best is yet to come, friend. I pray you have great strength and great courage. Your already great faith will not be fruitless.
Blessings and prayers,
Kathleen
Debbie
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful song and one in which so many of us unfornately can relate. Sometimes that road we travel is soo difficult and thick with obsticles and traps. We take our comfort knowing that we in the end the victory is ours through Him. I am praying for you Deb that the Lord carries you through whatever difficulties you are dealing with. Thank you for you sweet words on my post about my daughter. I am always so excited when I see that I have a comment from you! Have a wonderful day and may God "shower" you with blessings today...Debbie
Oh, yes Lord, we are ready and see the clouds gathering...beautiful choice, Debbie!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful song.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visits and nice comments on Family Fountain, and the plug for the book.
ReplyDeleteI sorry about your week but glad you had friends to help shoulder some of the emotional burden with you. It is amazing some of the friendships formed through blogging and FB!
Debbie - waiting on the rain with you!
ReplyDeleteIt will come - refreshing, pouring down rain from heaven - every drop will ease the pain and suffering and you will feel restored once again!
Big hugs and much love!
Jill
Debbie - I was driving alone this morning when the song that Amy shared today began to play on the radio. I had never heard it before and asked God to tell me who sings it. Then I came here and she mentioned it to you. I went to her blog and was ministered to once again.
ReplyDeleteTruly take the time and just listen to it. I also share two songs I believe will uplift you so more as well!
I love you Debbie - hold onto God nothing here needs to make sense because His faithfulness despite it all does! His love is and will always be! Thank YOU JESUS for loving us despite our faithlessness!
Hugs,
Jill
What a beautifully sweet song to sit and pray with. This was the first time I've heard it. Saying a prayer for you right now. Hang in there for easier times ahead. Keep waiting...
ReplyDeleteBlessings Debbie...I am so glad that Jill was there to encourage you with this song. It's a new one to me.
ReplyDeleteSome of us are in the opposite, saturated by too much rain but either way, God reigns!
I pray that your mountains are moved and God breaks through and brings His living water to quench your thirst & dry bones...may your difficulties be gone & triumph come as HE lets it rain...may you sense an outpouring of His love & mercy.
Filling you up, fulfilling His promises & your plans & dreams!
Be encouraged even more & enJOY a great TSMSS! (Since you live in AZ, it may be awhile for your wait but God gives grace to those that wait)
I am with you on this one. Thanks for sharing this. My week has been a little frustrating too. But we can lean on that God's is preparing us for something amazing in these times. Everything works for his good. Won't it be great when we see the whole picture and we are past this particular wilderness.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing,
Blessings,
Sherry

That is a very pretty song. I'm sorry you had such a difficult week, Debbie. I am praying God will supply all your needs, according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Love and Hugs, Cathy
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debbie, I'm very ministered to!
ReplyDeleteI love Misty Edwards, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHello again
ReplyDeleteI was presented an award that I would like to pass on to you.Just to say Iam greatful for your blog.
many blessings to you
Gracie
What a beautiful and yet a sad song. It is filled with hope for a future time yet it fails to see the beauty in the present.
ReplyDeleteIt is almost time for the cactus to come into full bloom and I have never seen anything so beautiful. They bloom without much rain at all. They bring us joy without the rain. Oh my friend, keep your eyes lifted upward for whether it is raining or it is a time of drought you are loved. It is only because of the droughts in our life do we appreciate the rain at all. In NY it rained all the time and we could hardly wait for the rain to stop, here in Arizona it is just the opposite but in either place if turn to our Father our Days will be filled with beauty.
Miss you
Anna May
Debbie:
ReplyDeleteThe way you share your heart makes every one of us who read these postings feel such a connection... your words are honest, and your struggles are our struggles as well.
I have read so many of the same blogs you love and seen your encouraging comments to so many others, so tonight, I would like to encourage YOU.
You already know this, but God is in these days of difficulty, in them and working through them...
Praying for a better week ahead, and for His peace to be your daily companion.
Blessings!
Sonja
