It's Then Sings My Soul Saturday when I link up with Amy of Signs, Miracles and Wonders. I encourage you to come along with us on a blog hop of worship music this morning. I know you'll be blessed. I've discovered new artists and songs and enjoyed singing along to some of my old time favorites. I think you'll find there's something for everyone.
My choice for today is an old favorite hymn "How Great Thou Art". But I love how Alan Jackson sings it in his country music style. The images remind me of how awesome a Creator I serve.
Oh Debbie - this is one of our family favorites.
ReplyDeleteJoshua who will be 4 in Dec. loves to sing this all of the time! Too cute!
Thanks for sharing!
Love you,
Jill
Debbie, that is one of my all time favorites. I love so many of the old gospel songs. Thanks for the wonderful music today. It really was a lift to my soul. Also, if you would like to come to the next Az. Bloggers lunch on Oct. 30th, please email me at astrollthrulife@gmail.com. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI love Alan's version.
ReplyDeleteThat was beautiful, Debbie. I have his CD of hymns, and it is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie...not sure I've visited before, but just discovered TSMSS, and have enjoyed sitting here this evening, reading and watching some wonderful videos. This is, of course, an all time favorite...I was just watching the Bill Gaither program tonight, where he was honoring George Beverly Shea, so we were blessed by hearing him sing this song that he is so well known for. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGod bless,
Mary
You know - this is my favourite song about God too. Just hearing the first bar of music melts my heart - every time!
ReplyDeleteGod's creation should always bring an automatic response of worship from us''How great Thou At"..

ReplyDeleteAs much as I enjoy today's artists and some of the newer songs, my heart never tires of hymns. I think my all time favorite is: It is Well.
