I'm so thankful for the blessing of friendship.
I can finally say that I REALLY do know Iris. And she is a great friend and fun and nice and ...easy to talk to. She lives in Arizona and so I know I'll be seeing her again and I love that.
OH and by the way, did you know that Iris has such a talent for photography? YES, she does.
And my second blessing was to actually meet Lori of Lori's Reflections. Lori was my very first blogging friend. I've already met her mom, sister and niece several months ago but this was our first face to face meeting.
And I have to say ...I wasn't disappointed at all. Lori is wonderful, fun, kind and I know we'll be friends forever. And she has such a geeky side to her. I know I can learn lots from her.
The three of us had such fun together on Monday. You'd never know it was our first face to face. We had so much to talk about.
Friendship is truly a gift from God. I'm so thankful for my friends. And even those who aren't at all into my "blogging thing". I still love you even if ...you don't leave comments. :(
So on this Thankful Thursday, I want to thank the Lord for my friends. And I can't wait to meet more bloggy friends in the future.
I've just read at Iris' about your meeting. It sounds really fun and you all looked so happy in the pictures. Happy TT!
ReplyDeleteYou are all wonderful women of God!! keep the love and fire burning :)
ReplyDeleteI am very thankful for you sweetie, love you.
ReplyDeletei love meeting blogger friends. such a blessing!
ReplyDeleteFriends can always sense that you need help.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to pop any day now (I'm pregnant...lol) and my hubbie is on a research trip in the wilderness, a two hour drive away, for two weeks. This has made me a little nervous about getting to the hospital and what I should do with my toddler. Trying to work out strategies for the different times of day I could go into labour has been a headache because there are so many gaps. Just when I almost became overwhelmed my mature friends (who are grandmas) insisted that I include them in my 'baby-sitting' plans. I hadn't thought of them because I didn't want to put them out as they suffer from elderly illnesses. However, they sensed that I needed help and offered so gracefully I could not refuse. Not only have they lifted my stress about baby-sitting but they have also humbled me with their love. That's what friends are for ;)
I love my sweet blogging friends. I wish I could meet more than I have.
ReplyDeleteYou are one of them!!
Big hugs to you today my friend.
Kim

In Blogville the saying, "Strangers are just friends waiting to happen.", becomes a true reality. Your recent meeting with some of your blog friends so well illustrates that. Your sharing this meet-up has increased my desire to someday meet some of my blog friends in person. I am really happy for you all, that it was a good experience for each one of you.
ReplyDeleteGirl,
ReplyDeleteI sooooooo wish I could have been there. It is only a matter of time and you and I will meet face-to-face. I feel like I already have spent many years with you as I have held you up before the Father. Such love grows in our prayers. Remarkable. Love you a ton my sister... Have a wonderful TT.
