GO:
We are each given the same amount of hours in a day. What we choose to do with them is up to each one of us.
When I think of opportunity, I think of 'where the rubber meets the road'. It's the time to get to work.
Maybe it's a time to get going on the goals we set. Remember those New Year's resolutions? Or maybe you choose a One Word for 2013. Just maybe it's your attitude that needs an opportunity to change. Or maybe this is the year when you are no longer going to allow worry to be something that controls your life.
Don't miss the opportunities that you have today. I for one do not want to get to the end of my life and have regrets. Opportunities missed because I was simply too lazy or fearful or ...
We all have excuses that rationalize why we don't take an opportunity. But in hindsight are there ones you missed? Maybe you were afraid to step out of your comfort zone?
I can identify with that last one. And this year is going to be different.
- I choose to seize the opportunity to live consistent with my beliefs.
- I choose to be open to what the Lord has for me this year.
- I choose to believe that God hears my prayers.
- I choose to live each day as a new beginning.

ReplyDeleteDear Debbie
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to see your beautiful smile again at FMF. Thank you for a thoughtful post. If only we see and use every moment as an opportunity to live in our Beloved Lord Jesus, we would be able to live life to its fullest in this new year for He is Life, Peace, Joy and everything we can just imagine!
Much love and a blessed 2013 to you XX
Mia
