It's Then Sings My Soul Saturday when I link up with Amy of Signs, Miracles and Wonders.
Today I'm sharing another song that my friend Jamie sent to me for encouragement recently. I remember a New Year's Eve some years ago when I tagged along with the Burgess' to see the Gaither's in concert. Even their little children loved each one of these singers and seemed to know most of the words as they sang along. Little Mary Beth fell asleep in my arms as the clock approached midnight. :)
This song is called "More Than Ever". No matter what you may be going through in your life, turn to Jesus.
Now more than ever ...He is so precious to me.
I love to sit at His feet!
Have a wonderful Saturday ...
Blessings and love,
Loved this song! I loved the bridge: "You are wanted, You are loved... You are the Love of His heart."
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed weekend! =)
It's really early on Saturday morning and I just clicked on to hear your song. How beautiful Debbie. They have a way of making music come alive anyway, and this song's message is something we can hold close to our hearts.
ReplyDeleteI'm off and away for the day, but rest and have a great weekend!
Hugs!
i got to watch the gaither's in daystar tv, but this is the first time i heard this song. i'm actually playing it while i work at home. love it!
ReplyDeleteAMEN to her opening words!
ReplyDeleteThat's what it's all about - relationship!
Love you Debbie!
There is no great lover of our soul than our EXCEEDINGLY GREAT REWARD!
Hugs,
Jill
Love watching the Gaither videos. Gloria when she does talk is so inspiring. And something our Pastor said the other night, sometimes He has to make our trials hard so we will depend on Him completely. We've gotten where life is too easy at times we don't cry out to God as they did in years past.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard this song sister Debbie. Beautiful lyrics that any one who truly follows the Lord will sing in their hearts. To be reminded of how much it cost to have our sins paid and be taken away from us, is indeed precious. And it's through our broken hearts that His redemptive power works its best. Have a great weekend sister and God bless and protect you always. Thank you for always encouraging me!
ReplyDeleteI love to hear the Gaither's, they are so good and always so inspiring. Love this song. Thanks for sharing. Hope you have a super day. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteGod is so faithful . . . HE is my cherished Saviour!!! God bless you my friend for sharing.

Blessings Debbie... MORE THAN EVER
ReplyDeleteI needed this and sit with you at His feet, treasuring how precious HE IS!!!
Thank you for sharing. Although I do not know much of the Gaither music, it never fails that their songs and singing stirs such a precious, powerful anointing! I always enjoy hearing them sing over and over!!!
Have a blessed weekend!
Peace and love in Christ,
Peggy
I love the Gaither family!!! I also love one of the singers, can't remember his name but the video is on my side bar of Sharing Life... he sings O Holy Night! Oh my goodness does that take me apart in worship!
ReplyDeleteYou are precious my friend! How did the week go? Email me when you can. I've been praying for you! Love you much!
