Pajamas and pancakes at school? You betcha! And what fun we all had including the teachers. I don't remember days like this when I was a kid in school but I'm not complaining.

Trust was my one word for 2011. I desperately needed to focus on trusting God at that time in my life. I know I've grown in my level of trust but there's always room for more. After all, life is a journey and not a destination. I've prayed for God's direction in my life. And I believe I've been trusting Him to guide me and lead me. My new normal. I read this phrase recently on a blog and liked it (thanks Shari). That's how I want to look at healthy living. It's not going on a diet to lose some weight. It's being healthy. It's having the energy to do the things that are important to me. I certainly don't want to waste a lot of time, energy and money on doctor visits or medications. I want to be healthy. The habits I adopt will become my new normal.
