Nana's Norwegian Waffles Combine the following: 3 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 1/2 sticks of melted margarine or butter 1/2 pint of sour cream Beat above ingredients well. Alternately, add: 1 cup flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 cup milk Then add another: 1 cup flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 cup milk And add: 1 cup flour 1 teaspoon baking powder And finally add: 1 teaspoon ground cardamom Bake on hot waffle iron until lightly browned. Serve warm or cold plain or with butter and jam.
