It obviously goes against our human nature. I want to fix, plan, overhaul, DO and just stress over sooo many things. And yet God says, Be Still and KNOW...that ultimately every little thing (our very breaths) are in His hands. And when I do manage to somehow be STILL I experience His peace in ways it is hard to describe. Resting in Him....full of His peace....that's what He wants me experiencing, not my frantic futile attempts to control! Lots of good things here to dwell on this morning Deb. Enjoy your week-end!Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09836655708421528876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1282814980296803369.post-690473426137472732014-11-14T06:55:02.776-07:002014-11-14T06:55:02.776-07:00This phrase hit me square on: "Do I trust Hi...This phrase hit me square on: "Do I trust Him enough in my life to be still?" That's an important question to ask and examine! I am learning that same thing. Being still and waiting on His timing and His direction. In a go-get it culture, we have to fight to be still. Thanks for these words of encouragement!
