Merry Christmas!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. My family is in Florida and I'm the only one out here in Phoenix.
But Greg's family is here! And we got together today. My nephew Bryan played his guitar. My mother-in-law makes the best poppy seed cake. It's a Petras tradition that I've grown to love too.
I'm so thankful for family and friends.
Even if you're alone this year, remember the reason for the season is to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. So you're really never alone.

I love Point of Grace. Their song "Circle of Friends" is one of my favorites. Listen as they sing "Immanuel".
Blessings and love,
Such a great thing to have family. Merry Christmas. Outside of being windy today, it was beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful song! God is with us always and I can't imagine living without Him. Praise the Lord!

ReplyDeleteJust stopping in to give you a hug.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that we are never alone!
Blessings!
How nice that you were able to celebrate with your in-laws!! That's true though, we are never alone!
ReplyDeleteI know I am never alone...but hubby passed on to Jesus on Christmas Eve...I sure felt pretty alone on Christmas this year!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing and reminding us that no matter what the physical surroundings...we are truly Never Alone in Spirit!!!
We enjoyed a rare combination of family-whacky & quietude. It was good to share Christmas Eve with the entire clan; yet we thoroughly enjoyed a less dramatic Christmas Day.
ReplyDeleteMighty blessings & mega hugs,
Kathleen
As always, a great post! Love, love Point of Grace!
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you these last few days of 2010!
Isn't it beautiful, "God is with us." This has always been one of my favorite names for God, but then again, His name always brings us just what we need. I remember when you were going all the different names of God - I always liked that. Blessings to you my dear friend. Love you.
